Addressing a press conference, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid announced the launch of Eagle Squad, Tourist Police as well as Rescue 1122 service to further improve security in Islamabad. He said that the e-challan system has already been introduced in the national capital as a pilot project while the city is already being monitored under the auspices of “Smart Car Vigilance”. Sheikh Rashid said that Eagle Squad, Tourist Police, and Rescue 1122 service would be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran soon.
