Peshawar:

According to media sources, the PDWP on Friday (March 25) permitted rural road development, tourism, and several other uplift projects.

Approval for 25 projects related to Communication & Works (C&W), Sport & Tourism, Elementary & Secondary Education, Rural Development, and Public Health Engineering sectors was given in the 17th PDWP in a meeting, led by Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Shahab Ali Shah.

As per the details, the approved projects comprised the purchase of sanitation vehicles for KP TMAs & divisional headquarters, sewer suction machines for sewerage lines & opening drains, and some other projects including:

Feasibility study and construction of Badalai Bridge at Madyan in Swat

Solarisation of schools in merged areas

Imran Khan Mohmand Shaheed College at Shergarh, Mardan

Development of informational complex:

Instructional & physical training programs in newly combined districts

Construction of roads at Doog Darra, Samang Gulwadai Dara, Usherai Dara, Kadikhel Darra, Kumrat, Shaoor, Jandrai Road & Badgoai
